Job Description:

Design and automation of software testing cycles, at both system and application level, Acceptance testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing.
Create test suites and test cases in Squish test automation tool
Update and maintenance of test suites both for FLACS (CFD Software by Gexcon) and new software products
Daily check of Squish test results
Manual testing to simulate usage scenarios / use cases
Close collaboration and daily interaction as member of Agile R&D and Software Development teams in Norway.
Document and report issues through proper processes and follow organizational guidelines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

University degree in software engineering and hands-on experience from testing of commercial software (preferably computational tools)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in developing automated test scripts, utilizing and building on continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins), and proficiency in various methodologies for software testing
Familiar with scientific programming languages such as FORTRAN, C and C++, and scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
Experience with any software test automation tool, preferably Squish.
Proficient in Linux and Windows
Good knowledge of relevant hardware (CPUs and GPUs) and using cluster and cloud system for testing.
Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC concepts, experience working in AGILE desired.
Experience or working knowledge about Git, Jira, Jenkins preferred.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results related to software development, testing, validation and documentation
Working knowledge of CFD modelling will be a plus
